Janice Posner Brandt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Posner Brandt of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Nathanson Posner and Lester Posner; and her sister Linda Lee Posner Graff. She is survived by: her husband Peter Ferth Brandt; her sons, Peter Ferth Brandt, Jr. (Yvette) and David Marx Brandt (Christine); her grandson Andrew Marx Brandt; her siblings, Lana Posner of Camden, Rona Posner of Hanover, Pennsylvania and David Brian Posner of Crofton, Maryland; and her siblings' children, Lindsey Peregoff Perry, Spencer Peregoff, Christopher Graff and Michael Graff.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hebrew Rest Cemetery (2101 Pelopidas St, New Orleans, LA 70122).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Janice's memory.
