She is survived by: her husband Andrew Thompson Benson; her son Andrew Thompson Benson, Jr. (Drew); and her brothers, Prentis Eugene Woods (Catherine), Patrick Lamar Woods (Gracie) and Raymond Everett Woods (Janice). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
