He is survived by: his children, Kenthay Wilson, Tamesha Wilson, Jeffery Wilson, Jamelia Wilson Banks (Draell), Jamonica DeCuir, Ashanti DeCuir, Jone'Harper Brown (Joseph) and Wardell Harper; his siblings, Marilyn Harper Thomas, Rickey Williams (WillieStean), Alfred Taylor Sr. and Felton Harper; and his sister-in-law Frances Louise Harper. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Israelites Baptist Church (2100 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70113). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
