He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard James (BJ) and Lola Mae Magee; his siblings, Mildred Magee, Barbara Ann Magee and Bernard Magee (Peanie); his grandparents, Rosco, Beatrice Magee, Ira and Zora Elzey; and his close friend Benny Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffreyanna King of Baton Rouge and Kendrick McGowan of Gulfport, MS; his siblings, Bernette Magee of Bogalusa, Beverly Fairley (Curtis) of Lithonia, GA, Donald Ray Magee, Darryl Magee of Bogalusa, Keithon Magee (Teryon) and Todd Magee (Janet) of Austell, GA; and his close friends, Martha Hall, Teresa Scott, Shondra Causey, Leroy Jackson and William Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, and cousins.
