Schmitt, Jr. (Donna), Warren F. Schmitt (Brandi), Jeanne Schmitt Bergeron (Michael) and Jeffrey M. Schmitt (Ursula); her grandchildren, Peryn E. Schmitt, Armand P. Daigle, III (Elizabeth), Blake A. Schmitt, Dr. Julia Daigle Lee (Jonathan), Emily Daigle Zamjahn (Tyler), Courtney R. Schmitt (Aaron), Mark Salvadore (Sacha), Joel M. Bergeron (Ali), Dane D. Schmitt, Jonah N. Schmitt and Mischa A. Bodin; her great grandchildren, Miles Salvadore, Ilia LaGraize, Eloise, Nora Daigle and Micah Lee; her sister Jean Cuccia Hand; her brother-in-law G. Patrick Hand, Jr.; her sibling's children, Stacey Hand Serro, G. Patrick Hand, III and Timothy F. Hand; her brother-in-law J. Martin Schmitt; her mother-in-law Hildred Martin Schmitt; her siblings-in-law, Rita Schmitt Roccaforte, Lynn Berrill Schmitt and Francis B. Roccaforte; and her friends, Audrey and Frank Neumann. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church (2030 Constance St, New Orleans, LA 70130). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
