It is with sadness that the passing of Joanne Elizabeth Ault of New Orleans, Louisiana is shared. Joanne, born on July 21, 1953 in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, passed away on September 26, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Quirk and Joanne Elizabeth McBride Quirk; and her brother Richard Quirk. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Ault (Neil McCormick) and Joshua Ault (Cheyenne Wendler); her husband Gary Ault; and her siblings, Jim Quirk (Ann), Bob Quirk (Gayle), Ann Quirk, Ted Quirk (Jan) and Mary Barry (John). She is also survived by her children, the deepest love of her life.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church (10021 Jefferson Hwy, River Ridge, LA 70123). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to World Central Kitchen or PACE of Greater New Orleans.
