He is survived by: his children, Jean Delord Ziegler (Johnny) and John Paul Delord, Jr.; his grandchildren, Lauren Ziegler Bufkin (Nick) and Shelly Ziegler Williams (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Skylar E. Bufkin, Nicholas P. Bufkin, Jr. and Deklin Asher.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
