We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2024, at the age of 88, Johnny Hicks (New Orleans, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Johnny may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by : his wife Catherine C. Hicks; his children, Patrice Marie Poche', Barbara Hicks- (Nolan) of Florida, Wendy Melissa Hicks and Johnny Hicks, III (Ingrid); his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Spriggens (Diane), Carolyn Parker and Cheryl Sanchez; and his goddaughter Brenda C. Barabino. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
