He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Holmes and Rachel Hunter.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Zion Baptist Church (2319 Third St, New Orleans, LA 70113). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. He also joined her at Wednesday night Bible study pre-Covid.
