It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Sutton (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Lois Harris Sutton; his children, Rachel Freeman (Matthew) and Cym Kibort (Jesse); his stepsons, Scott (Sara) and Judd Harris (Sarah Knight); his sisters, Suzanne Ratner and Candice Rosenblum; his grandchildren, Joshua, Charles Freeman, Julia, Audrey Kibort, Millie, Elizabeth and Isaac Harris; and his caregivers, Lashon Lafrance and Jerome Tilquit.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Touro Synagogue or Dress for Success.
