She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Mack and Josephine Shields Wilkerson; and her sibling Retired Johnny Mack Wilkerson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Edwin Wailen Sterling and Karen Farve Hill (Joseph); her grandchildren, Chantee'Sterling Harden (Jonard) and John Lindsey Hill; her siblings-in-law, Bernice Clayborne Wilkerson of Aurora, Mollie M. Jones, Lillie P. Myles, Sandra J. Crawford, Gloria Polite, Carolyn Polite, Melvin Polite, Sr. and Edgar Joseph, Jr. (Juanita); and also Jordan Angelina-Elaine Harden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
