She was predeceased by: her parents, Olivia Newman, and Charles Newman, Sr.; her brother Charles Newman, Jr.; her granddaughter Kiffany Butler; and her son-in-law Lucius T. Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Gail B. Perkins, Angela Montgomery, Charles Butler and Emanuel Garcia; and her grandchildren, Lionel Butler, Ronald Rankins, Jr. and Charnisha Butler. She is also survived by grandkids, relatives and friends.
