He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Rodgers Harvey; his parents, Milton Harvey and Annie Encalade Edgerson; his mother-in-law Josephine Kirkland Harvey; his siblings, Charles Harvey, Paul Harvey and Carole Encalade Jones; his sons, Troy Mashon Harvey and Kenneth Harvey; and his sister Frances Lacour.
He is survived by: his children, Courtney Polite (Melvin), Deana Howard (Reginald) and Kemisha Harvey; his godchildren, Jimmy Marshall, Shari Rodgers Griffin, Ellied Riley, Nicholas Cornin and Cherisse Brown Reid; and his sisters-in-law, Elois Brown (Clifford), Betty Rodgers and Shari Harvey. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
