He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson W. Smith and June Forstall Smith; his mother-in-law Gloria Mae Garrett Mundy; and his siblings, Charles Smith, Anthony Smith and Sybil Hayes (James I. Hayes Jr.).
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Smith, June Smith and Keiara Smith; and his siblings, Mark Smith (Nina Smith) and Velda S. Wiltz (C. J. Wiltz). He is also survived by grandchildren, and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Franklin Street Church of Christ (431 Franklin St, Gretna, LA 70053). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
