She was predeceased by: her husband Pleasant Burtell Thomas; and her parents, Daniel Douglas and Mary Douglas. She is survived by: her sons, Darvon (Yolanda Banks) and Kirk Thomas (Cheryl Slack). She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister, two brothers, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
