He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hartman Sr. and Marguerite Milton Hartman; and his parents-in-law, Wilker and Mae Olia Louis. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Corey Louis Hartman (Erika) of Homewood and Nazaren Hartman Mindingall (Wesley) of Hoover; his grandchildren, Grant Louis Hartman, Helen Elizabeth Hartman, Olivia Marie Mindingall and Eleanor Marie Mindingall; his siblings-in-law, Linda King and Rudy King; his siblings, Herman Hartman (Mary), Mary Morris (Fleming), Kenwood Hartman (Diane), Jannitta Antoine (Raymond), Oletha Hebert (Kenneth), Tina Garner (Rosemore) and Marshall Hartman; his nephews, Victor King (Camille), Richard King (Leslie) and Terence King (Anesah); and his niece Margaret Rose Sigue. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (5290 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
