He was predeceased by: his parents, Judy Thomas Charles and Leonard Charles, Sr.; and his sibling Shelita Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Bashful Charles "Ann". He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Burial will be private. Due to COVID-19, everyone attending is encouraged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
