He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard L. Knowles, Sr. and Hazel Castrogivanni Knowles; and his sisters, Kathleen Lamarque (Emile) and Hazel Knowles. He is survived by: his significant other Carroll Jones Knowles; his children, Leonard L. Knowles, III (Lauri), Lauren Knowles and Michael Knowles; and his pet Baxter. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
