He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnesta W. Taylor, Sr. and Theodora Jeffrion Taylor; his wife Eliska Pellebon Taylor; his son Gregory Swanson (Damita); his siblings, Arnesta W. Taylor, Jr. (Noreen), Connie T. Bynum (Joe) and Errol Taylor, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Harold Jackson.
He is survived by: his sister Andreé T. Jackson; his children, Julie Taylor-Vaz (Jacques), Terri Taylor-Joseph (Donald) and Leonard Taylor, Jr. (Emily); his grandchildren, Kristin Swanson Scott (Brandon), Kayla Swanson Gauthier (Derek), Marley, Maria Joseph, Jean-Jacques, Catherine Vaz, Malcolm and Brandon Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Saint Scott and Marais Gauthier.
