He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Holdiness and Gwendolyn McKoin Holdiness; and his brother Michael Holdiness. He is survived by: his wife Robbie Gail Romaine; his son Andrew Richard Holdiness; his sibling's children, Dr. Gwendolyn Holdiness Proctor (Drew) and Michael Holdiness, Jr. (Heather); and his sister-in-law Linette Holdiness.
