She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Sherrod and Hannah Sherrod; her husband Gladdis C Brisco, Sr.; her son Gladdis C Brisco, Jr. (Mary Francis Sherrod); and her brothers, Floyd Sherrod, Jr., Danny Sherrod and George Sherrod.
She is survived by: her children, Ozella Gill, Leslie Brisco (Cynthia), Sandra Brisco, Andra Brisco, Sr. and Lori Lion; and her grandchildren, Quay Brisco, Keanon Brisco, Shana Brisco, Alani Brisco, Andra Brisco, Jr. (Ashley), Iman Gill, Leslie Worm (Danielle), Christopher Brisco, Leland Brisco, Cameron Lion, Kail, Jaylen, Neilani, Emerie, Nola, Andra III and Layla. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces/nephews, great-grand nieces/nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
