She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Dittmer Didier and Clarence Didier; her husband Dr. Ralph Berni; and her daughter Karen Ridgeway (Greg). She is survived by: her children, Brian Walker, Ann Lockhart (Wayne), Ralph H. Berni (Cindy) and Erin (Josh); and her sister Claire Didier Singer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren, nieces, numerous cousins, and friends.
