He was predeceased by: his parent Lazarus Brown Sr.; and his sister Rose Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Jerquita Matthews and Dayshawn Matthews; his grandchildren, Darryl Johnson Jr., Kendrell Walker Jr., Antonio Fernandez Dayshawn Matthews Jr., Dayshine Matthews and Daysha Matthews; his siblings, Lazarus Brown, Terry Lloyd Sr., Honore Lewis, Matthews Lewis and Geraldine Brown Love; and his friends, Carolyn Atkins and Earl Guidry. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
