It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew White of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Jones, Sr. and Joann White-Pierce; his grandmother Juanita White-Butler; his great-grandparent Queenie White; his siblings, Willie J. White and Terry C. White; his nieces and nephews, Sierra J. White and Donjuan R. White; his aunts and uncles, Deedee Jackson and Chester "Billy" White; Ca'miri Rose.
He is survived by: his children, Kisa (Jewell), Matthew (Essence), Gerrin, Sr. and Cendra; his siblings, Deborah (Anthony), Elynda, Anginette (Tracy), Matthew, Jr. (Sarah), Darrin (Tammye) and Paul (Carolyn); Queenie Fay White. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
