Merrill leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Merrill’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Merrill will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Maratea and Lily Maratea. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Horridge Maratea; his children, Christopher Maratea (Melissa), Stacie Minnard (Emery) and Julie Mayes (James); and his sister Alison Belsom. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
