He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ardis and Lillie Ardis; and his siblings, Glynis Ardis Jones, Larry Ardis and Gail Shorty.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Guyton Ardis; his daughters, Sidra Ardis Moore and Nedra Ardis; and his siblings, Marion Ardis Clarke, L. Fay Ardis Arbuthnot and Willie Ardis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Restlawn Park Cemetery (3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
