He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris B. Edgerson and Marie Louise Henry; and his siblings, Karen, Carol and Chris Edgerson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael R. Edgerson Jr., Raymond N., Oneisha E., Erica N. Carter and Candanise Courtney (Roosevelt); and his grandchildren, Amara E. Carter, Micah A., Amory J. and Elias L. Courtney. He is also survived by four sisters, three brothers, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other family and friends.
