She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Louis Haten and Willie Ann Haten; and her sibling Glen Doria Haten. She is survived by: her children, Taira Patrice Black and Telvins Michael Black; her grandchild Alayah Royal Dowden; her siblings, Dorothy Ann Brown (John), Minnie Pearl Thompson (late Clarence), Terry Louis Haten, Sr. (Sharon), Robert Earl Haten, Jr., Sheila Marie Williams (Perry, Sr.), Patrick O'Neal Haten (Tawanda) and Deborah Fleming; and her close friend Desiree Wilson Riggs.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Grace & Glory Family Worship Church (802 Third St, New Orleans, LA 70130). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Interment: Will be Private. FACE MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
