She was predeceased by: her parent Lolis Edward Elie. She is survived by: her mother Gerri Moore Elie; her brother Lolis Eric Elie; her nephews, Lolis Niriko Elie and Olajidé Tsarasoa Elie; her sister-in-law Béatrice Elie; and her aunts, Bobbi Anna Dantzer and Althea Hills.
In lieu of flowers, Dr. Elie's family is asking that donations be made to the Benjamin & Yancy Foundation, Inc. a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit dedicated to providing screening, therapeutic services, and educational resources to those coping with breast and prostate cancer.
