It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Ellen Galloway Labostrie of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 24, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Byron Labostrie; her parents, Kenney Sr. Galloway and Yvonne Galloway; her in-laws, Alvin Sr. and Eleanor Butler; her grandparents, Ella Watson, Ruthie McGee and Gabriel Senior Sr.; her grandson Damien Reed; and her brother Joseph Galloway Sr..

She is survived by: her son-in-law Desmond Reed; her grandchildren, Tianna, Destiny, Aniyah, Des'Monique, De'Ageja and Desmond Jr.; and her siblings, Kenney Jr., Carey (Delcina), Cheleta (Lawrence Jr.), Zinia, Terry (May) and Corey (Deidra). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
