He is survived by: his wife Willie Ann Kenard; and his children, Adriene Kenard of New Orleans, LA, Monroe Kenard, III (Melissa) of Ellenwood, GA, Courtney Kenard of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Patricia Cruz (Rick) of Charlotte, NC and Kathryn Kenard of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and lifelong friends.
