He is survived by: his wife Elaine Toups Gootee; his children, Alison Gootee (Ted McGuinness), Ryan Gootee (Sara Mayer), Kevin Gootee (Blake Fullmer) and Molly Gootee Reed (Beau Reed); his grandchildren, Grace Gootee, Harrison Gootee, Henry Gootee, Madison Reed and Hadley Reed; and his stepgrandsons, Jack McGuinness and Matthew McGuinness.
