He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Buckner and Paul Buckner Jr.; his siblings, Michael Buckner and Paulette Early; and his stepson Kerry Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Georgiana Harris Buckner; his children, Paul J. Buckner IV and Ayanna Wills (Lloyd); his stepson Lee Harper; his grandchildren, Kerriyan, Jamal, Kerry, Raiven and Dylan; and his siblings, Credell, Rodney, Florence, Vanessa and Samantha. He is also survived by loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
