She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Emery and Ida Mae Turner; her husband Rev. Warren J. Richard; her sisters, Amelia W. Nixon and Louise W. Willis; her children, Elaine J. Champs and Antonio James, Sr.; and her grandson Aric G. Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Arlene J. Harrison and Warren J. Richard, Jr.; her grandson Antonio James, Jr. (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Shakira J. James and Journee C. James. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 2837 First St, New Orleans, LA 70113. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
