He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael Whelan and Elaine Wick Whelan; and his siblings, Mike and Kathy. He is survived by: his sisters, Patti Whelan and Karen Edds (Jimmy); and his significant other Joy Willig. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
