He is survived by: his spouse Robertine B McBride Dimes; his daughters, Charlotte Dimes Carter, Wanda Dimes Swain (Earl) and Denise Dimes Toles; his stepchildren, Walita, Edwina and Edwin McBride Jr. (Chatchamar); his grandchildren, Gary Lundy, Erica Lundy, Gregory Dimes and Philogene Steptoe; his stepgrandchildren, Shila McCray and Leroy Paul Jr.; his son-in-law Larry Daniels; and his cousin Gwendolyn Taylor (James). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
