Richard Samuel Friedman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Samuel Friedman of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriet Friedman and Abe J. Friedman; and his son Brian Roussel Friedman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Norman Friedman; his sister Margo Friedman; his siblings-in-law, Maurice Frank Norman and Sandra Norman; his sibling's children, Lisa Friedman Miller (Philip), Mark Friedman (Alex) and Kenneth Norman (Elizabeth Lempert); and his pet Muffin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Touro Synagogue Chapel (4238 St Charles Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
