With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Tate of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 2, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Tate; his son-in-law William Mulholland III; his son Ian Tate; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Tate; his grandchildren, Travis Sagusti, Layne Sagusti, Colston Tate, Collin Chubb, Mac Mulholland IV and Carson Mulholland; his great grandchild Sophia Chubb; Karen Walk.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Schoen Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home (3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119). A reception will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
