He was predeceased by: his wife Althea Calvin Jamison; his grandson Bruce Michael Jamison, Jr.; his parent Addie Laverne Jamison-Bonner; and his siblings, Bernice Middleton McDaniel, Luther Duncan and Wilfred Jamison.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Jamison Jr. (Fayetta) and Bruce Michael Jamison Sr.; his sister-in-law Shirley Calvin; and his goddaughter Kenneka Smith. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
