It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Kelso (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kelso and Vivian Kelso Parent; her siblings, Erie Parent Lanier (Eugene) and Beauregard Jean Parent, Jr.; her niece Vicki Lanier Crouch; and her great-niece Jenessa Guillory.
She is survived by: her brother Clifford William Parent; her sisters-in-law, Betty Parent and Elizabeth Parent; her nieces and nephews, Dayle Lanier Guillory, Vance Lanier, Lisa Parent Hickey, Christine Parent Smith, Colette Parent Raphel, Jean Edward Parent and Nicole Parent Bonck; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bucky, Jesse Crouch, Sean, Micah Lanier, Ryan, Jordan Hickey, Erich, Conrad Smith, Elliot Raphel and Christian Bonck.
