She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Montgomery and Mildred Jackson Montgomery; her brother Clyde Montgomery Jr.; and her grandparents, Andrew and Lula Bridges Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Laura J. Fortune, Clifford Montgomery, Linda M. Moon, Theodore Montgomery, Alberta Montgomery, Floyd Montgomery, Donald Montgomery, Ronald Montgomery, Anthony Montgomery and Lester Montgomery; and her niece Rhea Alam (Dina) of Vicksburg. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Life Church of Christ (5918 Babylon St, New Orleans, LA 70126). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
