With heavy hearts, we announce the death of SSF Romuald Cormier (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, SSF is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Cormier and Pauline Jones Cormier; and her siblings, Melvin Joseph, Sr., Bowman, Leo Cormier and Rita Dartis.
She is survived by: her siblings, Romuald Cormier, Raymond, James Donald Cormier, Marie Ross and Mary Lois Plumber.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Chapel of the Sisters (6901 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A wake will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
