He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baxter and Mary Louise Smith Baxter; his siblings, James Baxter Jr., Mildred Butler and Mabel Cooper; his nephew Anthony Davis; his niece Yuvoncka Singleton; and his granddaughter Tamia Gabrielle Encalade.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Baxter (Elaine), Gloria Gabriel, Robert Baxter (late Francis), Emelda Thomas (late Waddie), Sara Stipes (Willie), Patricia Polk (Johnny), Phillip Baxter (Shirley), Terry Baxter, Perry Baxter and Dale Baxter (Jennifer); and his children, Big Stanley Tucker (Twain), Shantel Thomas (Terrence) and Stanlene. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
