He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Benet Stephenson of Fayetteville, AR; his parents, Bert Stephenson and Norine Stephenson; his brothers, Conrad, Bud and Scott Mortensen; and his son Michael.
He is survived by: his children, James (Donna) of Ponte Vedra, FL, John (Maria) of New Orleans, Nancy Harris, Molly Sizer, Paul (Andrea) of Charleston, SC, Mary Ann Kelly (Wayne) of Pittsburgh, PA and Susan Stephenson (Bev) of Gulf Shores, AL.; and his pets, Buck, Missy and George. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 surviving cousin, 15 loving nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family and friends.
