He is survived by: his brother Mark Hinkel (Melanie). He is also survived by nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at the Hook & Ladder Cemetery (1050 Lafayette St, Gretna, LA 70053).
