She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida and Rudy. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Schwartz (Joe); her daughters, Renee Schwartz and Beth Wachtman; her son-in-law Steve Wachtman; her grandchildren, Lindsey Wachtman and Jonah Biedermann; and her siblings, Danny and Rochelle.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Jewish Federation of Greater Portland.
