She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter L. Bernard, Jr. and Jeanne F. Bernard. She is survived by: her close friend John C. Evans; her sister Jeanne B. Hurty (Charles); and her nephews, Dr. Charles Hurty, Jr. (Natasha) and Blaine Hurty (Linsay). She is also survived by three grand nephews and two grand nieces.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
