He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Griffin and Gertrude Duronslet; his wife Joy Armant; his brother George Griffin; his stepdaughter Maria Brisco; and his brother-in-law Sterling Fleury, Sr. (Audrey).
He is survived by: his children, Amber Griffin Davillier (Jeffrey) and Stephen Griffin (Katherine); his stepchildren, Byron Laurent and Sean Fowler; his grandchildren, Angelique Davillier, Jeffrey Davillier, Jr. (Keiajuana), Megan Beckwith (Kevon), Lindsey Griffin, Byron Laurent, Sr. (Paula), Valencia Luke Aonika (David), Varion Laurent (Erin), Sean Laurent (Tawana), Kenneth Brisco (Lola), Trinity Mullen and Vanessa Fowler; his siblings-in-law, Joan Birkel, Carlee Simon, Patricia Ralph (Rett), Lionel Fleury (Carol), Merlin Fleury, Sr. (Hilda) and Gerald Fleury; his godchildren, Carmen Cousteau, Charlene Peters and Carl Delery; Tracy and Gina Griffin. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, one great grandchild, a host of other relatives and friends.
