He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Timothy Simmons and Dekena McCann; special parent: Tanya Simmons; wife: Akiera Simmons; mother-in-law: Erica Downs; siblings: Keyairra (Gennie) Leverette, Kylah McCann, Kennedy McCann, Tia Simmons, Kenneth Black, and Donterius Graves; nieces and nephews: Kacey, Kozie, and Kaliyah Leverette, Jaquan "JJ" Hawkins Jr., and Wyatt Ingram; grandparents, aunts, and uncles: Dock (Odessa) Graves, Willie (Sadie) McCann, Dock (Lukesia) Graves Jr., Stacey Simmons, Shirlean (Renay) Anderson, Matlyn Franks, and Cherisse (Bernard) Turner; preceded in death by: Louise (Willie) Simmons, Aline McCann, Mack McGown, Dock Robbins (Lucy Davis) and Vincent Jones (TEC); and a host of cousins, extended family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (16708 Horace Wells Rd, Moss Point, MS 39562). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
