Toney Perrier Obituary

We bid farewell to Toney Perrier of New Orleans, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 19, 2025 at the age of 77. Toney touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Perrier and Louis Perrier II; his siblings, Barbara Ann Crockett, Lawrence Perrier and Louis Perrier III; his grandchildren, Makalia and Tyus Perrier; his stepson Lovell Nelson; and his parents-in-law, Ella Mae and Robert Nelson Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Myra Nelson-Perrier; his siblings, Paul Perrier (Barbara), Walter Perrier (Debbie), Anthony Perrier (Bridgette), Sandy Perrier (Mary), Dianne Taylor (Kenneth) and Alvoria Fields (Jerry); his children, Tanya Perrier-Cobbs (La Roy), Twania Gautreaux (Patrick), Tamika Stewart (Renell), Tony Jr. Perrier (Jennifer), Terrell Perrier (Aime) and Myrio Perrier (Shantel); his siblings-in-law, Gloria Perrier and Noah Crockett; and his daughter-in-law Deidre Evans-Nelson. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gentilly Baptist Church (5141 Franklin Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
